What would you call a Siberian Husky / Basset Hound mix? A Husket Hound? A Basky?
This is Bonsai, the dog with a full-sized Husky body and tiny Basset legs. I was lucky enough to photograph him this morning, and let me tell you, this dude is hilarious (and, like most dogs, even cooler in ultra wide-angle).
He is Texas Husky Rescue’s most recent success story, and I was thrilled to meet him! He has a couple of gorgeous Husky siblings at home, too, who don’t seem to notice the difference in leg length, although I think they’ve figured out that they have an advantage when it comes to jumping up to retrieve their snacks.
