Meet Nash : Texas Husky Rescue | Dallas Dog Photography

Yesterday I attended an adoption event hosted by Texas Husky Rescue, where I got the opportunity to meet with and photograph some amazing dogs who are looking for their forever homes. Texas Husky Rescue is maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers whose tireless efforts provide care and loving environments to neglected, abused or abandoned Siberian Huskies. I’ll be doing a few posts on the dogs I met yesterday, but I wanted to do a quick little “sneak peek” of one dog in particular who really took to the camera.

World, meet Nash:

Nash is a 3 year-old Husky who is a huge love-bug. His “stage presence” rivals Bruce’s, and he followed the camera around all morning (especially once he figured out that treats were involved). He’s a big boy – a bit taller and longer than a lot of the Huskies you’ll meet (but definitely not too big that he won’t fit on your lap – at least he likes to think so!), and his best feature is his huge teddy-bear snout. I laughed out loud at this photo of him – if he lived with you, this is the face that you’d likely see every morning, asking you for a snuggle (or a piece of your breakfast). Nash has a lot of love and kisses to share, and is looking for his Forever Home. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Nash or contributing to his care while in his current foster home, please contact Texas Husky Rescue!

I am always thrilled to be able to give back to shelters and rescue programs that do so much to promote education, well being, spay/neuter initiatives and responsible pet ownership. My work with shelters and breed rescue groups is 100% volunteer based.

I am also happy to offer a 20% discount on my Session Fees as well as a 20% discount on the entire print/product order to anyone who adopts or fosters from a Rescue group that I volunteer with. So, if you adopt Nash or any of his Husky friends, you’ll get a discount on your session with me (and I’ll be happy to see him again!)

If you know of a Rescue group or shelter who would benefit from my services, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
